Hi I’m Lexi and I work with individuals, couples, and families who are looking to grow to better understand themselves and their past in order to move forward. I offer counseling to individuals and couples from various socioeconomic backgrounds & military-connected men and women who are experiencing trauma, anger, or relationship conflict. Reactions to traumatic events might feel like anger, depression, anxiety, or avoidance of feelings. I specialize in working with individuals and couples who are struggling with trauma, anger, or emotional dysregulation. I have advanced training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, the ACA "Gold Standard" of relationship therapy. I also have advanced training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, a powerful somatic tool for treating trauma.

Groups
Women's Trauma Group
In this virtual group, open to female identifying individuals who have experienced trauma, we will be processing trauma using Written Exposure Therapy. Written Exposure Therapy is a brief evidence-based trauma therapy that allows clients to utilize writing as a tool to process trauma that is causing symptomology. Written Exposure Therapy does not require that you verbally share the specifics of your trauma with other members in the group. Although the group will discuss the writing process, your writing will only be shared with therapist facilitators.
