Many people pick up unhealthy coping behaviors when faced with vast amounts of emotional pain. It is often these behaviors that let us know something is not working well and force us to seek counsel for answers and solutions. Concerns I have worked with range from technology addiction, to self-injury, to poor relationship quality. As a result, I favor a compassionate, direct, and flexible approach to empower clients with hope and motivation to overcome their pain.
I have been licensed as a clinical psychologist since 2011 and specialize in the treatment of depression, anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, and ADHD in adolescents and young adults. I utilize techniques such as CBT, DBT, and a relational model that is guided by the client's needs. I also conduct psychological evaluations with clear and direct recommendations.
It takes a vast amount of courage to face your concerns but it is not something you have to do alone. Sifting through thousands of qualified professionals can feel like a daunting task especially since most of therapeutic success comes from the relationship with your therapist. I am very interested in hearing about your concerns and guiding you to success.
