Dr. Richard Trammel Academic Credentials - My graduate degrees are in Athletic Counseling (M.S.) and Sports Psychology (Doctorate). Athletic Counseling targets issues that aren't necessarily sports-related but can detrimentally affect performance. A Mental Coach should have experience playing sports and coaching athletes in order to relate to them.
