I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California with over 12 years of counseling and community mental health experience. I have a Masters in Counseling Psychology and a Masters in Forensic psychology from Holy Names University. I combine my clinical counseling expertise with personal knowledge to offer clients a unique perspective for problem solving. Rather than focus on deficits, I prefer to focus on the client's resources, strength, and talents.
My practice is a general one, I have a particular interest in culture and ethnicity as they relate to stressors in our lives. I often work with multicultural individuals and couples who have conflict in part due to cultural differences, and people attempting to adapt to the culture of others.
I encourage, support, challenge, affirm, educate, and celebrate each victory the client makes toward their preferred way of being in the world. I believe many people are seeking connection and balance in their lives as they navigate between work, family and life's transitions.
