Announcement icon Online video therapy (telehealth) available to your home. I have done therapy this way since 2013 and have an encrypted/HIPAA safe platform.
I specialize in helping clients heal from anxiety, depression and grow after trauma. I believe in compassion, respect, and in being honest while being kind. I am a clinical psychologist dedicated to helping folks overcome trauma of all kinds, using evidence-based (science-based) therapies in the context of a caring and trusting therapeutic relationship. I am also experienced in helping folks overcome specific fears, social or general anxiety, and depression. If you are working through any kind of trauma, or want to live with less anxiety or depression and with more joy, purpose and meaning, there is hope, and I welcome your call.
I have specialized training and experience treating childhood and adult trauma, anxiety, and depression using evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Exposure Therapy and Prolonged Exposure ("facing your fears"), Cognitive Processing Therapy, Behavioral Activation, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I am also trained in EMDR.
I celebrate diversity and offer inclusive psychotherapy to folks from all backgrounds. I practice from a sex-positive perspective and welcome folks of all gender identities, sexual orientations and preferences and those exploring their sexuality. I also have extensive experience working with Veterans. My office has easy access to public transit and parking.
