EmpowerHer: Virtual Women of Color Empowerment Grp
‘EmpowerHer is a Women of Color Empowerment group that incorporates a mental health and wellness model designed to address societal issues amongst BIPOC (Black & Indigenous People of Color) for women ages 35 and up. The group will meet virtually via Zoom for 90 minutes per session over a 6 week period, starting October 8, 2022. By the end of the group, participants will: develop a better sense of self; improve decision making by recognizing unjustified guilt; learn boundary types and how to set them; learn new coping strategies; and will promote an integrated sense of being, sharing and living.
