I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years of experience working with children and adolescents in all levels of behavioral health. I have worked in a variety of treatment settings - residential, acute/inpatient, intensive outpatient/partial hospitalization, & outpatient. In addition, I have experience in grief/bereavement therapy working with children, adolescents, and families in navigating grief. Through the use of individual, family, and group therapies, I utilize a strengths based and individualized approach. Each person is a unique individual and I focus on meeting you where you are.
I have experience using Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Attachment Based Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, ART, and Psychodynamic Therapy approaches. I also utilize play, art, and sand tray as approaches to engage students. Currently in the process of training our therapy puppy, Maisie, to visit with clients!
Personally I am a single mother of three girls (two teenagers!) that enjoys being outside as much as possible, active, and volunteering! I have always embraced helping others - which is why I am passionate about what I do. Having the privilege in getting to know you and your family and supporting you through the work/journey is incredibly fulfilling.

Groups
Family Grief & Loss Group
Process oriented 8 week family group to help manage grief and loss of any type. The group will be separated by children and adults but will have the same focus of sharing similar experiences to gather space for support. The goals of the group is to provide understanding and normalize emotions that are apart of the grieving process. Everyone's journey though grief is unique, but with utilization of peer group support led by experienced clinicians, insight, healing and affirmation can occur.
