I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker who has certification in EMDR and Trauma Focused CBT. I specialize in treating PTSD, depression, anxiety and eating disorders. I have extensive training and experience with crisis management, particularly, as it relates to suicidal ideations or behaviors. I received formal training in crisis management as a Special Agent in the FBI. I was the Employee Assistance Program Coordinator for the Cincinnati Division of the FBI. In this capacity, I responded to critical incidents to provide Critical Incident Stress Debriefings. I am now in private practice and enjoy the opportunity to help clients.
I use Client Centered Therapy to engage with clients. This type of therapy involves the therapist viewing any problem or situation from the client’s perspective. My form of therapy is highly collaborative. I ask my clients to draft their own treatment plan in terms of goals and objectives and then render my professional input.
Above all, I believe therapy should feel safe, supportive, and empowering. I regularly check in with clients to ensure they feel heard, understood, and on track toward their goals. Healing is not about “fixing” you—it’s about walking alongside you as you rediscover your strengths and learn new ways of coping. I would be honored to join you in your journey.

I tailor the interventions I use to the specific needs of my clients. For example, to treat PTSD I'd likely use EMDR and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. In the first session, I explore what you would like to accomplish in therapy. My treatment plans are completed in close collaboration with my clients. We set goals and objectives and have 30 day reviews using the treatment plan to measure progress.
