My goal is to create a nonjudgmental space where clients experience their emotions, knowing they are met with understanding and respect. I strive to meet clients where they are, honoring their autonomy and individuality. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, depression and trauma with a particular emphasis on management of chronic illness, cancer and medical trauma for teens, young adults and adults, working closely with parents and caregivers to offer genuine support and insight. Authenticity and empathy are central to my work, as I help clients uncover self acceptance and empowerment around life's most difficult circumstances
I aim to create an environment where clients are free to be their authentic selves and am particularly passionate about work with marginalized groups; LGBTQ+ teens and adults, integrating evidence-based practices such as CBT, ACT and IPT with training in DBT, psychodynamic and somatic approaches for a wide range of clinical presentations and age ranges.
I hope clients experience a sense of groundedness and stability, knowing through therapy they can explore life’s challenges at their own pace, leaving sessions with a sense of clarity, connection and hope. The decision to begin (or start again) is hard. Together, we co-create the therapeutic space, as clients uncover their path toward meaningful change.
