Hi, my name is Leslie. 15 years ago my husband was killed in a car accident while I was pregnant with our child. I was broken and did not know if I would ever feel happiness again. With the help of therapy I learned the tools I needed to heal, feel happiness again and even thrive. Today I want to help teach you these tools. Trauma and grief can be overwhelming and debilitating. I am a trauma specialist and I can help you make the stress, anxiety, depression and PTSD from a trauma experience greatly reduced. You are not alone.
I specialize in EMDR which stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. This is a very effective trauma therapy that can help that vision you can't get out of your head or that negative inner voice that keeps interfering with your well being go away. Most of my clients find relief from anxiety panic and depression from this method.
You do not need to feel ashamed of your feelings anymore. I have created a safe space for you to talk about your feelings with zero judgement. We will go at the pace you feel comfortable with and I will never make you talk about anything you don't want to talk about. I can handle anything you tell me. It's going to be ok.
