I work with adults, children and adolescent who struggle with stress, self-esteem, difficult behaviors, screen time/technology addiction, history of trauma or abuse, relationships, school or big life transition such as divorce, death, or illness - or those with anxiety or depression with no known trigger. I provide a safe therapeutic space to work through emotions and build on coping strategies. While much of my practice is dedicated to child/adolescent clients, I see adults and couples, especially those impacted by cancer, bereavement, neurodiversity (ADHD, Gifted/2e/Autistic) burnout, addictions, trauma or parenting concerns.
I believe that healing & growth happens within the context of relationships. My style is warm, compassionate, non-judgmental, & genuine. In therapy, I focus on age-appropriate activities designed to holistically help people overcome difficulties, develop resiliency & cultivate strengths. I utilize EMDR, play, sandtray, expressive & creative arts therapies.
As a parent myself, I understand the struggle is real AND how helpful it can be to have support. For children, play is the language in which they communicate and therefore the therapeutic process is based in play. Parents are encouraged to partner with me to help their child overcome whatever challenges they are facing and build upon their inner strengths.
