I became a mental health provider because our mental health shapes and forms other aspects of our lives. Mental Health is vital! I have been a Doctor of Social Work; and Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2019, and I have experience supporting children, adolescents/young adults, and adults with concerns such as trauma, depression, anxiety, PTSD, marital counseling, anger management, acute inpatient, partial hospitalization. I don’t believe as a therapist my role is to “Save the world” or “Empower” my clients.
I believe together my clients and I can work alongside each other to assist them with identifying tools within themselves and community resources to successfully reach their goals. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy home decor , cooking and spending quality time with family.
The types of therapy I offer include and are not limited to Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Culturally Sensitive, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Multicultural, Person-Centered, Solution-Focused Therapy.
