Ms. Danner has specialized training in school-related assessment and educational intervention for children 2-16 years old but specializes in working with preschool and elementary grade level children. Ms. Danner takes pride in conducting comprehensive neurodevelopmental and psychoeducational evaluations for giftedness, specific learning disabilities, autism, ADHD, behavioral disorders, and mood disorders. Ms. Danner also regularly conducts school/classroom observations and works with both parents and teachers as a behavior interventionist, offering guidance and strategies to help meet the needs of the whole child.
In therapy, she specializes in working with children who struggle with behavioral and/or emotional dysregulation and underdeveloped social skills. Ms. Danner also offers Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for adolescents struggling with self-harm. In addition, she runs teen groups for Executive Functioning skills.

"Smart but Scattered" is an ADHD/Executive Functioning group for TEENS based on research by Dr. Richard Guare & Dr. Peg Dawson led by one of our licensed school psychologists. This is a closed group with weekly sessions occurring during select seasons annually. Topics Include: Planning & Organization, Avoiding Procrastination, Improving Attention/Focus, Emotion Regulation, Electronics/Social Media Time Management, etc.
