I use the strengths based, person-centered approach to therapy, believing in a person’s right to self-determination. I have a passion for helping individuals dealing with stressors from challenging or dysfunctional work environments, whether it is your high stress job or dealing with bullying at work. I provide counseling to individuals with post-traumatic stress from single incident abuse or trauma, or those with chronic exposure to traumas such as abusive childhoods or trauma-involved careers.
I am trained in cultural competence and offer a stigma-free, confidential environment. I have experience in crisis intervention and assessments of individuals who are at risk of harm to self or others. I am a STAR Behavioral Health Provider, part of the Military Family Research Institute out of Purdue University and Center for Deployment Psychology.
I can help you with processing anxiety and depression and adjusting thoughts into a more positive and productive pattern, enabling you to live a happier life with healthier relationships.
