If you’ve been looking for understanding and compassion, while also wishing & hoping for change, therapy is a unique relationship in which one can discover oneself and seek opportunities for change. You have the chance to observe how you feel and what you respond to in relationships with others. A healthy therapeutic relationship will allow you to explore this unique relationship. Be curious about yourself, feel your feelings, and discover new and/or different ways to be. Through gentle, cooperative collaboration, this process, called the therapeutic relationship, can lead you to change, self-discovery, being heard & finding joy.
In the past 20+ years, I have provided evidence-based, attachment-based therapies to my clients. This allows for personal growth in the areas they wish to address. I have trained in methods to assist my clients in assessing their needs and goals and collaborating with them to achieve the change they desire. I combined brain-based methods & relational models.
It’s a privilege to be invited into my clients’ lives…providing them with compassion and understanding, a safe and nurturing environment, and the practical tools to facilitate their authentic self-expression, repair, and process trauma. Trauma steals self-trust and confidence Through relationships one can re-establish their internal guidance and self trust.
