I have been in the counseling field for over 30 years! I specialize in trauma therapy and relational issues. I have extensive experience with anxiety and depressive disorders, codependency, and women's issues. I encourage clients to use their strengths to combat sabotaging beliefs & find new ways of coping and grounding. I provide a customized treatment approach for the unique needs of each client. I integrate traditional & current therapy techniques to help clients make lasting, positive changes. My clients report greater confidence, restored relationships, increased emotional support from within, and more happiness.
In today's world, there is not one of us that has not experienced trauma or loss. As a Trauma Informed Therapist, with extensive training in IFS (Internal Family Systems) & EMDR, I support clients to learn how to understand their intrusive thoughts, painful emotions, and practice grounding in SELF energy as a way to manage the effects of trauma.
In addition, I like to leverage my experience with relational therapy to bring a unique perspective to ind. counseling. I am able to help people understand their thoughts & feelings in the context of their relationships which in turn helps them create deep and lasting relationships with their partners/family/friends.
