I have been in the counseling field for over 30 years! I specialize in trauma therapy and relational issues. I have extensive experience with anxiety and depressive disorders, codependency, and women's issues. I encourage clients to use their strengths to combat sabotaging beliefs & find new ways of coping and grounding. I provide a customized treatment approach for the unique needs of each client. I integrate traditional & current therapy techniques to help clients make lasting, positive changes. In today's world, there is not one of us that has not experienced trauma or loss. As a Trauma Informed Therapist, with extensive training in IFS (Internal Family Systems) & EMDR, I support clients to learn how to understand their intrusive thoughts, painful emotions, and practice grounding in SELF energy as a way to manage the effects of trauma.
In addition, I like to leverage my experience with relational therapy to bring a unique perspective to ind. counseling. I am able to help people understand their thoughts & feelings in the context of their relationships which in turn helps them create deep and lasting relationships with their partners/family/friends.
