About
I'd be honored to work together, to earn your trust to use insight-oriented psychotherapy and other effective techniques to help you restore hope and find relief. I pledge you'll have the chance to be listened to and understood in a profound way, maybe for the first time. In a safe and collaborative setting, we'll find solutions to specific situational difficulties or lifelong, entrenched problems. We'll begin lifting emotional burdens that, on your own, you might never have thought possible. And, find the delight in an "aha!" moment that leads to substantive change for the better.
In my Greenwich Village practice, I've helped patients resolve sexual concerns; workplace impasses; depression; anxiety; trauma; grief; loss; illness; relationship conflicts; life and career transitions; parenting hurdles; engagement; marriage; infertility; divorce; retirement fears; alcohol and substance abuse; self esteem and narcissism issues, and phobias (e.g. fear of flying).
I work individually with adults of all ages, all races and religions, and any sexual orientation. I'm licensed to accept third-party payment. My fees are flexible. I routinely handle insurance company paperwork and follow-up so that you get your reimbursement. In hardship situations, I offer reduced fees.
