Life can be painful, and at times, completely devastating. As we navigate life, we inevitably encounter reality gaps—the space between the life we have and the life we want. The wider the gap, the deeper the distress. My role is to meet individuals where they are and guide them toward bridging that gap.
I have over a decade of experience working with adults and adolescents facing chronic depression, anxiety, attachment challenges, and relational conflict.
I often work from an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) perspective, which involves exploring the mind’s chatter, identifying unhelpful patterns, and understanding the larger systems you’re part of. ACT is a non-linear & flexible model that involves meeting clients where they are in the present moment.
In ACT, we recognize that we have limited control over our internal experiences. Our thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations often arise without our choosing.
