I worked in the field since 2004. I enjoy building relationships with each family member, working with behavior problems in-home or at school, working with issues related to being a new mother or father, and traumatic experiences. To restore strained relationships can be both very powerful and empowering. To reprocess trauma in the brain can start the healing process in order to move forward with life. The people that I have provided therapy to ranged in age from 2 years old up through mature adults.
I used trauma-informed cognitive behavior therapy to assist with experiences in life that one needs to heal from. I use deep relaxation to assist with stress and anxiety. I always used a solution-focused, client-centered approach in which to assist others. I believe in installing hope for a better future and enjoyment of life.
