I am a Licensed Professional Counselor working with individuals 11 years old and up to make positive change. My goal is to establish a safe, comfortable environment for you to express yourself, discover your strengths, and experience growth and healing. I am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and I utilize a solution focused, strength-based approach to make progress towards the goals we'll create together. I aim to teach new skills in coping, communicating, and connecting with others and when appropriate, we'll explore community resources that may provide some relief for your current challenges.
I work with pre-teens, teenagers, and adults to achieve their goals relating to a variety of issues. Some examples of these issues might include: anxiety, depression, processing grief, managing anger, working through life adjustments and transitions such as moving, divorce or the blending of families.
I have had extensive trauma therapy training to help you process through past or current experiences that may be affecting your emotions, beliefs, and behaviors. We will work together to improve your confidence, overall communication, and relationships with others.
