Thank you for viewing my profile as you consider engaging in therapy. I am experienced in working with couples and families, as well as adolescents and their parents, adults and older adults. I specialize in treating depression and anxiety, PTSD, work stress and relationship struggles. I am trained in the NeuroAffective Relational Model, a treatment modality for complex, childhood trauma. I use a Family Systems approach to help my clients gain insight into how their role in their family of origin is impacting their current relationships - and tools for improving them.
I utilize Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy as well as Brief- and Solution-Focused therapies to help my clients make adjustments in their day-to-day lives and to build their mood self regulation and coping skills. With couples, I help identify loops - the ways we trigger each other - and strategize ways to redirect those loops.
Reaching out to a therapist can be intimidating or even scary. A brief, complimentary phone consultation might help you feel better about taking this important step toward gaining insight into your struggles and making changes in your thoughts and behaviors. The goal is to feel better and improve your quality of life.
