In my private practice, I believe you can be helped to make shifts in your behavior and thinking processes, to create awareness of your issues, and to change the areas you wish to correct. As a relationship and sex therapist, my background and training are in relationship treatment as well as sexuality therapy. I work with heterosexual, lesbian, gay, bisexual, queer, asexual, and transgender individuals, couples, and partnerships to heal and find fulfillment. I see adults on a variety of discomforts that affect individuals, partnerships, and sexuality (e.g., orgasmic issues, erectile issues, desire issues, sexual pain). Additionally, I see couples for a myriad of relational issues. I am LGBTIQA, kink, and poly friendly and knowledgeable.

I specialize in working with people experiencing major life changes (new career, new family configuration, losing a loved one, romantic relationship ending or beginning, new migration to the US), depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, and adjustment issues. Additionally, I am trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy, a 12-week manualized therapy designed to assist clients in healing from PTSD.

I believe every person is creative, worthy, and capable if given the right support and care. My clients are often queer or trans, many identify as disabled or chronically ill, and most of them have experienced trauma throughout their lives. Many of my clients also identify as neurodivergent and want to understand how to work with their brains more effectively without judgment. Most of my clients have been taught that their body-minds are inconvenient, shameful, or difficult.

I believe there are times in a person's life when they need a trustworthy ally who offers integrity, understanding, and nonjudgement. I believe this is also someone who can help another person explore the causes of his/her/their thoughts, feelings, or behaviors and develop new ways of thinking, acting and feeling. I am committed to helping individuals, couples, and families achieve these goals in an environment that emphasizes confidentiality, respect, trust, and compassion.

I am passionate about serving folks who are part of the LGBTQIA+ and poly/ethical non-monogamy communities. Living in a society that prioritizes profit over people and systematically privileges & oppresses based on identity takes a large toll. I believe therapy is a resource to help us navigate this world & be intentional about how we show up in ourselves and our relationships. Hello and welcome! My work is focused on helping clients strengthen any number of dimensions in their relationships, including emotional connection, safety and intimacy, communication, conflict resolution, self- and other-confidence, trust building and repair from infidelity. I am trained in systems theory, which means I approach therapeutic work through the context of your relational systems, interactions, and feedback loops that create and perpetuate the problems, patterns, and behaviors clients are seeking to resolve. This often translates to facilitating change within the system in contrast to only within the individual.

Trauma, unhealed wounds, and oppressive systems disconnect us from our wisdom and intuition, and impact our ability to feel at ease. You and your body carry so much, from the grief and resilience of those who came before you, to the stress of everyday life, and each story of pain, joy, and survival that has led you to seek care. It is normal to experience overwhelm, anxiety, disruption, and depression while carrying so much. You weren't meant to carry it all on your own.

I love to work with supervisees and mentees (supervision of supervision) as we grow, laugh, and learn together. The process of deepening knowledge, experience, and wisdom can be rewarding for both the supervisor and supervisee. I approach supervision and mentorship from a structural supervision perspective as I believe we all thrive with the right balance of structure and support. I use a good amount of humor and curiosity in my approach, as I believe the elements of fun, delight, and joy are important parts of the professional growth process.
