I am a licensed psychologist with seventeen years of experience in various mental health settings including community mental health, psychiatric hospitals, substance abuse treatment centers, state psychiatric and medical hospitals. I am experienced and enjoy working with a wide variety of issues particularly, mood disorders, depression, anxiety, trauma, relationships, grief and loss, addiction and recovery, health psychology, neuropsychology, young professionals, and life transitions.

I offer individual, couples, and family therapy formats for adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, grief, or attachment trauma. **I am also trained in DBT and Self Compassion and offer 1:1 work.** Struggles we face in life can negatively influence our understanding of ourselves, others, and the world around us in ways that keep us stuck, afraid, and unhealthy. I am a 1st generation Taiwanese-American immigrant who came to the US as an adolescent. I can conduct therapy in fluent Mandarin, Cantonese, Taiwanese, and English. I am a full-time self-employee and mother of 2. I changed careers from Engineering B.S, to Business M.M., to Counseling/Behavioral Science M.Ed. therapy. I worked at MIT, and I am currently working on my Ph.D in Clinical Sexology. I empathize with work life balance issues, stress/time management, and career transition/satisfaction. My core goal is to empower individuals, couples and families to make healthy, positive changes in their professional and personal lives.

My life mission has been to learn and understand the many different ways in which our unconscious mind controls our lives, and just as importantly, what to do about it. The fact is that for each and everyone of us, our own unconscious mind has developed and created mistaken and limiting beliefs about ourselves which limit us from reaching our full and complete potential and we are often not even aware of it.
