My goal as a therapist is to create an environment in which my clients can safely work though the complexities of their thoughts, feelings, and personal experience. While working with clients, I encourage expression to gain self-awareness and to reshape narratives. Expression is essential in everyday life, especially when working through difficult times, such as grief and trauma. I practice therapy with a person-centered, trauma-informed, strength based approach to meet clients where they are and to help them make changes to start the healing process. As an Art Therapist, I have the ability to bring artmaking into the therapy session and to help facilitate the healing process.

My ideal client is working with individuals who are looking to address concerns of anxiety, stress management, or lifestyle changes. My clients are looking to make changes to behaviors to improve their overall quality of life and I help facilitate that. I provide a space to process life challenges and address them in a non-judgmental, safe environment.

My passion is working with clients who struggle with eating concerns and body image issues. I have experience with anorexia, bulimia, and binge eating disorder. I can also help if you feel that your relationship with food and/or exercise is complicated but have not been diagnosed with an eating disorder. I practice from a Health at Every Size perspective and offer an inclusive space for all. I value being empathetic while challenging my clients to step outside of their comfort zone and unlock their strengths. Taking the first step to get help and support can be intimidating but it can lead to growth and change!
