With each of my clients, I cultivate a compassionate, non-judgmental, and supportive environment. I believe that the therapeutic relationship provides a safe space for identity exploration, so that you can more fully embody your truth in your day-to-day life. While a sense of progress is integral to the therapeutic journey, we will create a personalized understanding of what growth looks like for you, rather than settling for more prescriptive goals. As a relational therapist, I help people foster deeper understanding and self-awareness, overcome unhelpful and defeating patterns, and build self-esteem.
I have extensive experience working with lesbian, queer-identified, transgender and gender expansive folks, individuals living with HIV/AIDS, and those exploring their relationship to sexuality, kink, and gender. I also provide individual clinical supervision for newly licensed clinicians.
My practice is rooted in a holistic, strength-based and anti-oppressive philosophy. I have over twelve years of experience in the mental health field, in both private practice and community settings. My virtual practice is in New York and California, and I offer limited in-person sessions in Manhattan.
