Angie Gillespie is a Board Certified Mental Health Counselor specializing in issues of anxiety and depression with adults and adolescents. Angie believes it is important to give people an opportunity to share their struggles in a safe, supportive space so they can become a better, healthier version of themselves. Angie knows that achieving healthy mental wellbeing can be a difficult process and believes in helping her clients take charge of their lives through their thoughts and actions to achieve the success they desire.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Therapist in Mississippi since 1999. I hold a Master of Science degree in Counselor Education and a PhD in Educational Leadership. My experience in the field of mental healthcare spans over 30 years. I was a school administrator for six years and a former law enforcement officer for 10 years. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including but not limited to depression, anxiety, relationship issues, couples, parenting problems, career challenges, PTSD and ADHD. I am a compassionate counselor, but I believe in individual accountability.

After graduating from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology in 1996, Kris began his career working with Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. He earned his Masters Degree in Counselor Education in 2001, and became a Licensed Professional Counselor in 2008. Since then Kris has worked in Inpatient Psychiatric and Outpatient Settings. He has received training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TFCBT) for children, the Gottman Method Level 2 for Couples Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR).

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, specializing in helping those who struggle with anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, depression, and trauma. I have a Master's Degree from The University of Mississippi in Counselor Education with a focus on Community Mental Health Counseling, and received my Bachelor's Degree in History from Mississippi State University. Outside of the counseling setting I enjoy exercising, baking, and spending time with my family as well as my dogs.

I have worked with children and families for over 40 years. My goal in life has been to make a difference in the life of a child, helping them to feel good about themselves and teaching them skills to cope with whatever circumstances have led to their emotional or behavioral problems. I also strongly believe in working closely with the parents of the children I work with, helping them to understand and accept what is happening with their child and providing them with support and skills to interact with their child in positive and productive ways. Making a commitment to therapy can result in children that are happy and successful.

I believe that everything we need in order to heal is within our internal reach. Sometimes we can access this healing on our own, and sometimes we need supportive, non-biased accompaniment so we can go deeper into our healing processes. Consider me your attentive support person. I have been in private practice as a licensed clinical social work. since 1989. I have a master's degree from Tulane University where I served on the advisory board for the School of Social Work. I was a consultant at the Master's and Johnson Sexual Trauma Unit in New Orleans, trained in critical incident debriefing, and served as a divorce and custody mediator for the courts in Louisiana. I enjoy working with adults both individually and as couples. I enjoy helping people find patterns that no longer work for them and teaching new strategies for coping and growing.

He is experienced in working with clients who struggle with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, and spiritual development issues. Phillip is an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist, and he strives to provide a comfortable and safe space to focus on the healing process of each client.
