Congratulations on taking the first step on your journey of making a positive change in your life! Finding the right therapist can be a difficult and stressful process. One of my goals is to make this as smooth of a experience as possible. I firmly believe that anyone can benefit from therapy. I have enjoyed seeing the progress my clients have made in counseling, and have felt honored that they have included me in that journey with them. I try to incorporate a non-judgmental and comfortable environment for clients to be able to express themselves at their own pace.
I have worked on a Suicide Prevention Hotline and Mobile Crisis Team. While in graduate school, I was part of counseling services offered in a local Hospice Care Facility. Most recently, I have worked in several outpatient settings with clients of various presenting problems, as well as various age ranges.
I have been trained in EMDR therapy, and have found the results in my work with clients of this modality of treatment to be astounding. I am excited to be able to bring this model into sessions with client's and see the progress that is able to be made.
