Utilizing a holistic and systemic approach we help clients reintegrate the parts of themselves to function better as individuals and within their systems. Our focus tends toward a systems based approach using behavior methods.

I have a doctorate in Counseling Psychology and 23+ years’ experience counseling a spectrum of mental health concerns.

Lindsey strongly believes that the therapeutic relationship is the forefront of therapy and the foundation for change. She utilizes a variety of treatment approaches and techniques in order to meet the client's individual needs and keep therapy at a level at which they are comfortable. She works with children, adolescents, and adults, dealing with a wide range of issues; however, she specializes in anxiety based disorders, including Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). Lindsey is a creative and caring person who is passionate about helping others to improve their quality of life and succeed in their goals.

Each person that I meet with comes through my door with their own unique story and journey. It is important to focus on the strengths of each individual and work toward building coping skills to reach their goals.

Our Clinicians at Doctor Annie Therapy are a group of experienced therapists who value the collaborative relationship with patients, their families/caregivers, as well as physicians and other members of the treatment team. We offer individual, family, and group therapy as well as psychological testing. I have 26 years experience in the provision of therapy in an outpatient setting to treat a diverse array of presenting problems. I assist clients in problem solving more productive and healthier ways to cope with their unique challenges. A guiding principal in my work is to aid clients in achieving congruence between the person they wish to be and the person they are, thereby continually striving for authenticity. I wish to aid my clients in achieving their fullest potential in order to live gratifying lives personally and professionally.

Our approach to therapy is genuine, supportive, and solution-focused. We work collaboratively with you to build upon your strengths and find new ways to face challenges that lead to a more content and balanced life. Our experienced therapists treat ages 6 and older and use evidence-based treatments for a wide range of concerns, such as coping with chronic pain and medical conditions, mood swings, suicidal thoughts, self-harm urges, impulsivity, emotional reactivity, post-traumatic stress, difficulties in relationships, anxiety, depression, grief, loss, life changes, and feeling stuck in achieving goals.

Sara provides sessions both via telehealth and in office at our Woodstock location. Sara works with adolescents and adults dealing with issues such as anxiety and depression, mood disorders, substance abuse, ADHD, psychosis, and self-harm. She believes that a strong therapeutic relationship is at the forefront of treatment and utilizes a wide variety of techniques to help meet each individual's needs including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), talk therapy, and expressive arts therapy.

I view therapy as a step towards a more content and peaceful way of being, and approaches every individual, couple or family in an open and supportive manner. I provide guidance and encouragement towards change through building self-awareness and empowerment. I offer services via telehealth/video and in person to provide the environment that is most comfortable for you.

My experience in social services consists of 20+ years of growth, first as a case manager and Social Svc. Director prior to licensure, then clinical experience as a child and family therapist in community mental health, an LCSW in an small group practice, and now my own practice since February 2016. I have extensive knowledge working with people living with grief/loss, Childhood trauma, Depression, Anxiety/Panic disorders, PTSD, ADHD, Bipolar disorder, and Personality disorders. I am experienced and passionate about working with First Responders, Military, Medical Professional, and anyone that has had traumatic experiences.

Taylor believes that successful therapy begins with a strong therapeutic relationship. Taylor begins with a person-centered approach to facilitate the growth of the therapeutic relationship. Taylor also incorporates a variety of techniques from the modalities of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI) based on the unique needs of each client.

I have been providing psychological services to Mchenry county for the last 17 years. My experience is diverse and my approach to therapy is evidenced-based. I comprehend mental health issues from not only a psychological, but also from a social and neurological perspective. With this being stated I have developed a unique and comprehensive understanding of my clients. I have worked with several challenging clients and pride myself in my ability to modify treatment interventions for each client's unique needs. Kristin Camorlinga, LCPC, received her Masters in Counseling from Loyola University in 2012. She specializes in working with children, adolescents and their families and has been doing so in different capacities since 1995. She has counseled bilingually in many settings including three schools, a domestic abuse shelter, two non-for-profits and two community public health agencies. She is passionate about helping people overcome mental health difficulties so they can reach their greatest potential and live their best life.
