Accepting new clients! As a licensed marriage and family therapist & licensed clinical social worker, I help you show up for yourself, your relationship, and your family. As a member of the queer community (agender, pan/lesbian), I have personal/professional experience providing knowledgeable and affirming care for people of many identities and types of relationships, including neurodiversity. I have specific experience working with queer kids/youth and their families; queer kids/youth have unique challenges in coming out, navigating family/peer relationships, interactions with school, and negotiating transition tasks.

As queer women, we often have more challenges to navigate than others and sometimes we need extra support. I can provide you with that support. I work with queer women who are struggling with feelings of stress, relationships concerns, dating, anxiety, parenting, marriage, depression, & frustration. I also help people struggling with ADHD and with grief/loss. I am a doctoral level psychologist & have graduated & trained in programs accredited by the American Psychological Association.

I help people GET & KEEP the change they want in life. As a lesbian military veteran, I offer compassionate and non-judgmental assistance to people who desire to grow & live a complete & more balanced life. I will help identify the root causes of problems and to assist with resolution. Equipping people with life skills and tools helps people achieve internal balance, success, and self-discovery. I specialize in LGBT+ issues, transgender transitions, gender identity counseling, and light sensitivity.

Most of my clients are interested in being goal-focused, constructing meaningful solutions, identifying appropriate community resources, and engaging in respectful and collaborative dialogue.

I work with gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and gender non-conforming folk as well as those living with HIV. I specialize in a wide variety of concerns including but not limited to: substance use, depression/anxiety, trauma stemming from violence, life transitions, and relationship difficulties. My therapeutic style encompasses many techniques such as: Gestalt therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and guided imagery to help you rediscover your personal Truth. Together we can work to identify the obstacles blocking you from manifesting your dreams and empower you to create the change you deserve in your life.
