It is not easy to seek support and I am honored to be considered as someone who could help. I work with individuals & couples with a range of issues using both short and long-term therapy. As a Psychologist, I am trained to work with various issues related to well-being and distress. A few of my specialty areas include trauma, sexual concerns, depression, anxiety, relational work, infertility concerns and perinatal/postpartum depression and working with therapists. Overall, my approach is holistic and relational; I give the utmost attention to the therapeutic relationship as well as how people relate to others in their lives.

I work with adults struggling with relationship issues, addiction, depression, anxiety, and PTSD. Many of my clients have become very successful despite difficult childhoods and are curious how therapy can help to reduce their suffering, heal from past traumas, and learn healthier ways of attachment. I use elements of EMDR therapy in my approach. I am kink allied and sex positive. I invite you to come as you are. I will respect, support, and encourage you during our time in therapy.

I have worked with individuals, couples, and families in counseling for the past 20 years and was an educator prior. She utilizes an integrative approach to therapy, helping clients tap into their emotional and cognitive experiences to encourage growth and change. Some of her therapeutic approaches stem from Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), as well as various experiential modalities. Annie utilizes genuineness, humor, and unconditional acceptance to create safety and to nurture positive relationships.

I work with children, adolescents, adults and families. My therapeutic approach is humanistic, strengths-based and attachment-focused. I am a culturally-sensitive clinician, who emphasizes working transparently and collaboratively with clients of all backgrounds and orientations. In an effort to synthesize my love for music with my passion for mental health, I also co-founded Backline Care, a nonprofit organization providing mental health and wellness resources to those in the music industry.

I work with queer women who are struggling with feelings of stress, relationships concerns, dating, anxiety, parenting, marriage, depression, & frustration. I also help people struggling with ADHD and with grief/loss. I am a doctoral level psychologist & have graduated & trained in programs accredited by the American Psychological Association.

I have specific experience working with queer kids/youth and their families; queer kids/youth have unique challenges in coming out, navigating family/peer relationships, interactions with school, and negotiating transition tasks.
