I specialize in perinatal mental health and mood disorders, LGBTQIA2S+ related issues, challenges related to intimate partner relationships, identifying, navigating, and recovering from abuse, and healing from traumatic experiences.

All of us at some point need support and understanding when dealing with the challenges of life. I have over 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families to improve their relationships, and communication skills. I also enjoy working with pre-school and kindergarten age. With young children I use proven techniques such as play therapy, sand tray, and puppet play to help children explore their feelings. I will also have experience providing groups for children and adults dealing with anger management, grief and loss, conflict resolution, divorce, and social skills.

Life sometimes brings difficulties, hurts, or trauma that can overwhelm us. I provide a warm, accepting, and gentle approach to helping people grow, heal, and hope again. I work with individuals to discover new ways of thinking, gain new perspectives, and learn skills to overcome anxiety, depression, trauma and emotional pain. Sometimes we need to be heard and believed. Other times we need direction, and relief from distress or anguish. There is good news! There is hope!
