Hello, my name is Dyllon. There are many reasons to seek out counseling and I hope to serve as a guide on your path to growth and healing. My practice is eclectic in nature. I believe everyone is unique and therefore deserves a unique approach. My areas of specialty are LGBTQ+ issues, including HRT, anxiety and depression, and relationship issues. I am experienced in and comfortable working with multicultural and diverse populations. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and graduate of the University of Montevallo where I earned a Master of Education in clinical mental health counseling.

With an extensive background in child welfare, counseling, consultation, life coaching, and the observance of resources needed for underprivileged families and services for behaviorally challenged youth, I founded Love Out Loud Counseling and Consulting Services. We, as human beings, crave connection and intimacy in our lives. We want to be seen, understood, and appreciated in our relationships with ourselves, the people we love, and the people who love us. Sex and sexuality are often at the root of these connections. Our perceptions of sex and sexuality are fluid and naturally change as we go through life. Communication surrounding consent, affection, sexuality, and intimacy is often avoided due to the taboo nature of sex. At Fluidity Counseling, we strive to provide a safe place to navigate through the shame and stigma that can accompany these conversations.

I have over 13 years' experience in counseling, serving as a school counselor, substance abuse counselor, and non-profit director. My background has given me the knowledge to help those who have experienced trauma or rejection turn their pain into purpose. I work from a collaborative, holistic, and strengths-based approach; assisting and supporting clients to be the author of their own lives.

Jennifer has experience working with children, adolescents, adults and the geriatric population. Her areas of expertise include play therapy and assisting patients and families in coping with chronic illness. She worked in the healthcare industry for almost 10 years assisting patients in coping with the diagnosis of chronic illness. Most recently, she has worked in a private practice setting working with both children and adults who suffer from depression, anxiety, bi-polar disorder, schizophrenia, autism, and adjustment disorders. Jennifer recently became certified as a Synergetic Play Therapist.

Welcome! I specialize in helping individuals process and alleviate feelings of anxiety, panic and depression, as well as offering insight to help understand your unique responses and attachments in the mind and body. You will have the ability to learn and practice mindfulness, CBT, archetypal psychology and somatic therapy in a comfortable environment. I incorporate meditative and yogic methods, encouraging internal regulation while rebuilding safety in self. Every person experiences blind spots in their narrative that can create challenges in life, so together we can illuminate a new path for expansive healing and personal growth!

I have over 15 years of experience working with school-aged children and adults, dealing with a wide range of issues such as motivational difficulties, social adjustment, negative self-image, assertiveness, positive parenting, grief and loss, obsessive thinking, and self-hurtful behavior.
