I work with people to lean more heavily on the behaviors that will help them thrive. I grew up on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. After moving to Colorado for college, I decided I wasn’t ready to leave and became a permanent Colorado transplant when I met my husband. I am a mom to one through IVF after a battle with infertility. I understand what it feels like to be diagnosed with infertility and navigate the complexities and hardships of receiving treatment. I also understand the anxiety that comes with pregnancy after infertility and can help you navigate that.

Hishara is a licensed Marriage and Family therapist who works with children, adolescents, adults, families and couples from diverse cultures. She uses a holistic, client-centered, cultural-oriented and strength-based perspective in her work. Hishara will also engage in animal assisted therapy with her "official" side-kick Lava, when it is therapeutically appropriate.
