I'm a counselor/psychotherapist and I specialize in three things: #1, Depth Psychology with a strong Jungian focus #2, Post Traumatic Stress Disorders and the Traumatic Recovery Process #3, Psychotherapy for Physicians, Executives and Senior leaders working through crisis. I'm certified in (EMDR) Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. My passion for working with people experiencing post traumatic stress came as a result of my own experiences as an EMT and Paramedic during my career in emergency medicine serving as a first responder in Arizona, California and Texas currently nearing thirty years of service.

I practice depth psychology with a strong Jungian focus to help heal trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and depression in adults and children (age 10+). Whether you (or a family member) are going through a life transition due to divorce or job loss, feeling depressed or anxious, or experiencing a relationship conflict, making a change is always easier when you have an experienced professional to guide you through it. I use a psychoeducational approach to help clients understand how they can move forward from their current and past difficulties towards acceptance and a more fulfilling life and future.

Psychotherapy and finding the right therapist can be a challenge. For many, it's finding the right one that provides a comfortable and personable experience. For some it can be tough to open up and get connected. Its those relationships that provide the grounding for effective and helpful treatment. I have been in private practice since 1979. I often see individuals who are experiencing depression and anxiety. I also work with couples who are struggling with marital distress.
