My orientation and personal experiences have inspired me to work toward the treatment of clients struggling with childhood trauma, PTSD, anxiousness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, relationship issues, LGBTQ concerns, NSSI(Self-Injury) and Borderline Personality Disorder.

What I have found that brings people to therapy is a tension between two things, which is often an internal feeling and something that is happening in life. Sometimes this becomes so overwhelming that it feels as though we are drowning in decisions and feelings. Often it is our unconscious complexes and attachments that constellate this type of energy. I practice in-depth psychotherapy with a Jungian influence. This type of therapy is unstructured and long-term, which allows for space and flexibility for the healing process to occur.

SSM Health Behavioral Health offers an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), specifically designed for young people struggling with mental, emotional, and behavioral problems. Our Youth and Family IOP aims to help teens reduce symptoms through developing skills to promote self-awareness, and emotional regulation. Our team understands the complexity of mental and behavioral issues and we believe it’s imperative to take a comprehensive approach to caring for each person to strengthen the whole family system.
