We are a dynamic team of therapists who treat all types of beings and ages who are experiencing challenges stemming from trauma and stress, anxiety and depressive disorders, grief and loss, substance use issues and others. We utilize a range of therapeutic techniques to ensure we are meeting you exactly where you are. For 41 years I have been an attorney and had clients with varying backgrounds and issues. My retirement plan from the practice of law was to use all that experience to help others so now I am an LPCC hopefully touching lives in a helpful manner. I have seen how lives can be affected in a negative manner by divorce, drugs, crimes, and health issues which include mental health issues. Society puts more pressure on our lives daily and there is always a way to deal with life on life's terms. Come sit with me awhile and we will deal with life.

As an advocate for the under-served he loves working with individuals and families as well as youth who struggle with addictions. Silverleaf is the regional Rape Crisis and Child Advocacy Center for the Lincoln Trail Area Development District (Breckinridge, Grayson, Hardin, Larue, Marion, Meade, Nelson, Washington). Therapists provide individual, family and group services across the lifespan to survivors of sexual violence, free of charge, regardless of when the abuse occurred. Because everyone is different, we provide a variety of therapeutic techniques and interventions that are supported by research to be the most effective techniques to use with victims of sexual violence. I have many years of experience working with early childhood trauma and severe, persistent mental illness, varying from ages of 5 years to 70+. My goal is to empower and advocate for positive change within you, as the individual, and the system as a whole. The place that we will create together is a safe and judgement free space. I work through an Existential foundation, to help those I work with seek meaning and purpose, with skills built from experience with Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Cognitive Behavior Therapy, all within the context of a trauma-informed approach.

I believe in your capacity to heal, transform, rebuild, and rediscover the disconnected and quieted parts of yourself. I believe in you - that you deserve to be seen, heard, and empowered to be the best version of yourself. I am passionate about working with people who no longer want to struggle in silence and are looking for a warm and honest presence to help untangle and process what’s holding them back. Each session is client-directed and I am dedicated to providing you the opportunity to address whatever you are facing today in a comfortable and non-judgmental therapeutic space utilizing individualized interventions.

I am excited to work with clients from all walks of life. I myself have walked quite an interesting life. I've experienced many ups and downs filled with self-growth, loss and healing, and many transitions and challenges along the way Assisting those dealing with Grief and Loss are perhaps one of the areas I am most passionate about and versed in, however, my primary goal is to help all who may seek guidance. I enjoy working with children on the Autism Spectrum, anyone who suffers from depression or anxiety, and anyone who feels hopeless and needs to believe again; including individuals, couples and families.
