Telehealth is available to clients living within 30 minutes of either office.

My mission is to provide a welcoming space for people to work on their individual goals. This can look different for everyone. For some, it's working through life changes or challenging situations. For others, they are on a journey to identify who they are and what they want in life. I believe everyone has the ability to make changes and discover things about themselves that will allow them to live the life they want. My focus is to provide a place for people to explore and learn while feeling accepted and supported.

I work with clients suffering from CPTSD, depression or anxiety. My focus is on helping people process and move through old issues by eliminating the emotions attached to those events by using EFT or Energy Psychology which I've been using for 22 years. I believe that therapy should be a positive experience and that you should look forward to that healing process. I also use hypnosis for numerous issues.

We are a small, private psychological practice providing services in both the Carlisle and Chambersburg areas. We are passionate about our work. We view our therapeutic relationship as the medium in which change happens, allowing your time spent in therapy to be beneficial and worthwhile for you and/or your child. We work with a variety of presenting problems including anxiety, depression, situational stress, childhood trauma, grief/loss, behavioral disorders, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders as well as perinatal health.

These days, our stress can feel overwhelming. I provide a safe, caring environment for adults to slow down, find their center, and make space for what needs attention. I use a body-centered mindfulness approach called Hakomi to gently explore how each client organizes their own life experience. Learning to become safely embodied is a vital step towards healing. Through this moment-to-moment mind/body exploration, not only are core beliefs and protective strategies revealed, but also pathways towards change. Our own natural instinct towards healing awaits our readiness to unfold.

The most important element of counseling is the connection you have with your counselor. I know how important it is for you to feel heard, validated, and aligned with the person you are choosing to trust. Starting the journey to self discovery can be overwhelming, and you need a counselor who understands and appreciates your own uniqueness. If not cared for, old wounds may still hold power over you. I get it can be confusing to navigate the journey to a healthier self, especially because you cannot choose what happened in your past. You do not have to be defined by your past or be at the mercy of unwanted thoughts and feelings.
