During the course of our work, I will help you develop your "Emotional Intelligence" (understanding of what motivates feelings and actions) and acquire the tools needed to overcome barriers blocking growth and change. Once you gain these coping skills, you will find yourself open to loving relationships, living in the present and creating a more fulfilling life.
I specialize in working with individuals coping with trauma, sensitive sexual issues, and challenges faced by LGBTQ individuals. I have advanced training in EMDR, a research-proven approach to help individuals heal from trauma. As a trained Sex Therapist, I work on anything from sexual dysfunctions to managing alternative relationships that vary from mainstream.
I will embrace who you are, and we will work together in the supportive, judgement-free, confidential atmosphere of my practice.
