We are complex individuals molded and sometimes broken by our unique life experiences. These experiences provide the subjective lens through which we perceive reality, and can negatively influence our thoughts and behaviors. This can sometimes happen outside of our awareness. For instance, we often create hidden internal conflicts which can cause daily distress in our lives. However, we can also be very aware of negative thoughts and behaviors which create havoc in our lives. By allowing me to step into your story and your life experiences, we can work towards the goal of improving your overall well-being and happiness.
We will process experiences which are negatively impacting your life, including trauma, grief, relationship issues, addiction, and life transitions. We will identify and correct negative beliefs and unhealthy behavior patterns associated with depression, anxiety, addiction, and other disorders. We will use your strengths to develop healthy coping skills.
Making changes can be challenging and painful; and can cause feelings of fear, confusion, and helplessness. If you will let me into your world, I will facilitate the resilient and positive mindset you need to make those changes. We will together build a therapeutic relationship which will promote peace, harmony, and personal growth in your life.
