An appointment with me might be considered because you are experiencing emotional concerns (i.e. anxiety, depression, uncertainty, irritability, fear, feeling unsafe and isolated, self-doubt, etc.) that affect your well-being. Relationships may also affect these concerns. In addition, your legitimate needs may not be receiving sufficient attention. With the multiple uncertainties of covid-19 and its potential lingering effects on freedom of movement, employment, financial stability, and personal/ social relationships, it is even more important to explore, understand, and minimize your emotional concerns.
Knowing your past history and its emotional effect on your present life is not sufficient. My more than forty years experience will contribute to a more compassionate sensitivity to your deeper needs and concerns, and maximize your understanding and therefore your capacity in present-day personal/occupational/emotional situations.
Though covid-19 presents us with multiple uncertainties, it may also be magnifying concerns that have not previously been given attention. You and I will maintain an ongoing awareness of your emotional experience with present-day matters, and enhance and sustain your feeling that you're not alone, even in difficult circumstances.
