I am an independently practicing therapist and a Registered Nurse with over twenty-five years of experience in the areas of eating disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma, and ADHD. I have been working with children, adolescents, and adults in the counseling field using a strengths-based approach, helping clients recognize and build on their existing strengths to achieve their goals.
My practice is rooted in a client-centered framework, integrating techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness to support clients in developing practical skills they can apply both within and beyond therapy.
I also advocate for mental health by supporting the National Alliance for Mental Illness (NAMI) and serve on the advisory board as a trauma-informed consultant for the Exodus Road, a nonprofit dedicated to fighting human trafficking. In my downtime, you can find me on the trails with my 3 dogs, reading, or painting in my studio.
