I have over 20 years of experience in providing psychotherapy for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Clients. I address the cultural barriers that are often associated with having a hearing loss, such as: lack of communication access, unresolved family issues, difficulty in obtaining and maintaining employment, and isolation, etc. As a result, the symptoms of depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and the myriad of other presenting concerns the client may present are addressed.
I also have over 20 years of experience in providing psychotherapy to hearing clients, that may struggle with: relationships, parenting, depression, and anxiety.
Along with speaking English, I am also fluent in American Sign Language.
I am a Licensed LPC-Supervisor. LPC supervision is provided for Texas LPC Associates, at an affordable rate.
