Are you stuck between blowing up and shutting down? I specialize in working with anxiety, grief, trauma, and stress. This looks different for each of us- sometimes grief means loss of life, but sometimes we grieve loss of health or loss of an idea of what we thought our life would look like. I'll work with you to support your brain's healing and offer skills to help get you through the roughest times and get you back to living! My approach is to help you identify what "living your best life" would look like for you, and support you along your journey there.
I believe in using theories of psychotherapy that have been supported by research. I work hand in hand with each of my clients to develop skills and coping strategies that work for them. My favorite intervention styles are ACT (Acceptance & Commitment Therapy) and EMDR (Eye Movement Reprocessing & Desensitization).
