Hello, my name is Leigh Anne Barber and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) based in Texas with 20+ years in the mental health field helping clients statewide via telehealth find successful ways to navigate through a variety of life circumstances. I enjoy working with children, teens, adults, and couples specializing in anxiety issues, stress management, relationship issues, and trauma support, using many different counseling techniques to help each client feel heard and understood to begin healing.
My approach to counseling varies based on my client's needs. I believe that through a sense of belonging, we learn who we are and who we can become; we learn our true identity. I offer a unique and authentic counseling approach listening to and supporting you without judgement.
I always knew I wanted to help people feel better and decided I wanted to become a counselor during my first year of teaching. I have always enjoyed building trusting relationships and helping people get through the many different obstacles that life throws our way. I truly enjoy seeing people heal and helping them through the process.
