Connection is key! I seek to provide the space for clients to allow themselves to be open, explore and accept aspects about themselves where shame and fear may have been the barrier. Past trauma, damaging relationships, anxiety, depression, and spiritual abuse are just a few areas where shame and fear are created. These lead us to isolate, mask, and seek unhealthy coping skills in order to face the day. If you find yourself not enjoying relationships, not able to fulfill or even understand your passion/purpose, or stuck in anxiety, depression or addiction I would be honored to walk through these things with you.
For the past 13 years I have worked with men and women experiencing sexual addiction (my specialty area), broken and traumatic relationships and feelings of despair. Over the past 6 years I have had the privilege to work with those in LGBTQIA community and helping to repair the family systems. Many of my clients come from a Christian background.
Coping skills are not enough when there are deep roots in the things that you do or the way that you experience yourself and the world. Groups
Sex addiction
Therapy groups for sex addiction can add an in depth layer to the recovery process. Much like a support group that allows for those facing the same issue to support one another, a therapy group adds the benefit of a trained therapist to allow the group to explore deep roots and heal with the acceptance and understanding of others.
