I like to give clients autonomy to feel their emotions. We work as a team to find solutions to create a more sustainable life. In therapy, I prefer to meet the person where they are at. There is room for emotional releases, as well as problem-solving through life transitions. I focus on strategies to calm our nervous systems and find coping strategies.
I work with people who have disabilities or need support with impulse control and life changes. We work together to think about what our bodies are signaling to us, and how we can find coping strategies.
I like to use a calming tone. The session belongs to the client; I am simply in a space to help them cope. We work through mindfulness and goal setting to realize how we might feel throughout the process of reaching our goals.
