Due to Covid-19, I realize many people are facing financial strain, therfore I will work with you to make counseling affordable. I provide counseling as well as life coaching. I realize some people are stuck in a rut and just need just 5-10 sessions to get going. Other people might be interested in a more long term approach. I can work with you either way. I realize that you might feel apprehensive about the counseling process, so I have incorporated an easygoing style that greatly helps to reduce people's sense of unease.
I bring a sense of humor and compassion to my work with clients. Your issues may, of course, be serious, but sometimes humor can help bring needed perspective. I use cognitive behavioral therapy to work with many issues including anxiety, depression, substance abuse, parent/child relationships, relationship issues, trauma, and chronic sickness.
I work with ages ranging from 13-78 and find that my approach works equally well with men and women. Since we want to make sure we are a good fit, I offer a free 20-minute consultation as a first session. If you feel like we are a match, we continue as a first session, but if not, you are under no obligation. I really look forward to hearing from you.
