I've practiced for over 25 years in Richmond and the Northern Neck, working with adults and teens (12+). I help clients with grief, anxiety, stress, depression, difficult life changes, parenting, relationships, aging, and work/life balance.
Practicing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy ("talk therapy"), I collaborate in a positive, challenging, and respectful way, encouraging clients to change unwanted habits and thoughts, to develop healthier coping and relational skills, and to achieve greater life happiness and meaning.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family on the bay in the Northern Neck, walking our dog along the James River, playing in a band, sailing, growing oysters, mountain biking, and surfing. If you're looking for a therapist who genuinely cares and can help you move forward positively in life, then I look forward to hearing from you.
