Life is a journey. It doesn't always happen the way we plan, does it? We are often challenged by stressors we feel overwhelmed by, such as job stress, relationships, a grim diagnosis, loss of a loved one or trauma. Any one of these things can trigger anxiety or depression. I encourage you to take the lead in your therapy, to help you overcome whatever is holding you back from living your life to the fullest.
As a National Board Certified Counselor, I utilize an Integrative approach. I incorporate Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Mindfulness, Person Focused Therapy or Trauma Focused Therapy. Using these techniques allow my clients to cope and heal from past issues and trauma while simultaneously processing their current issues and stressors.
My office provides a safe, welcoming and supportive environment to help increase your wellbeing. I believe through learning evidence based coping skills and strategies to develop and execute, you will find solutions to the issues in your life.
